On Mobile
1. Open Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Touch the search bar at the top of the display, type in the name of the person you intend to report, tap their name, and afterwards touch their account picture.
3. Tap More. This alternative is near the top of the customer's page, just listed below as well as to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up menu. Doing so brings up an additional menu with reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Faucet one of the adhering to alternatives in the food selection:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Pretending to Be Someone alternative or the I Intended to Assist choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a factor (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some even more details?" area.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the end of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so verifies that your report was sent out.
On Desktop computer
1. Open up Facebook. Most likely to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer system's web browser. This will open your News Feed if you're currently logged right into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the screen, type in the name of the individual you wish to report, click their name, and afterwards click their profile picture. Additionally, locate and click their name in your News Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right corner of the cover photo at the top of their profile web page. Doing so motivates a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. This opens up a home window with numerous reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the following alternatives in the home window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Acting to Be Somebody option or the I Intended to Assist alternative, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they acting to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some even more information?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue switch remains in the bottom-right edge of the home window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This validates that your record has been sent out.
