Turn Off Facebook
Note: Deactivating your account is not the exact same point as removing your Facebook account. This procedure only suspends your account and does not remove it completely.
Warning: Deactivating your account will not safeguard it from hackers.
Turn Off Facebook
1. Log into Facebook.
2. On the homepage food selection bar, click The triangle that produces the main drop-down menu on Facebook. on the far appropriate side.
3. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
4. Select General from the left column.
5. Under the Manage Account area, click Edit on the much appropriate side.
6. Select Deactivate your account.
7. Enter your Facebook Password.
8. Select a reason for leaving as well as click the The Deactivate button on Facebook. switch.
9. Click the The Deactivate Currently switch on Facebook. button.
Keep in mind: If you check the box beside E-mail pull out, you will no longer be visible to close friends on Facebook. Additionally, you will not be able to get invites, be tagged in pictures, or asked to join teams.
