Can I Report Someone On Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Up Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Touch the search bar at the top of the display, type in the name of the individual you intend to report, touch their name, and afterwards touch their profile picture.
3. Tap More. This choice is near the top of the customer's page, just below and to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. Doing so raises an additional food selection with reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap one of the adhering to options in the food selection:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Pretending to Be Somebody alternative or the I Wished to Aid alternative, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they acting to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you offer us some even more details?" section.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue switch at the bottom of the screen.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so confirms that your report was sent.
On Desktop computer
1. Open up Facebook. Most likely to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer system's web browser. This will open your Information Feed if you're already logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar at the top of the display, type in the name of the individual you want to report, click their name, and then click their account image. Conversely, situate as well as click their name in your News Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right edge of the cover picture at the top of their profile page. Doing so prompts a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It's in the pop-up menu. This opens up a window with various reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the complying with options in the home window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Pretending to Be A person choice or the I Want to Help choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they acting to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a reason (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some even more information?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue button is in the bottom-right edge of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This verifies that your record has been sent out.
