On Mobile
1. Open Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar at the top of the screen, type in the name of the person you intend to report, touch their name, and after that touch their account photo.
3. Tap More. This alternative is near the top of the customer's web page, just below and to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up menu. Doing so brings up another menu with reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap one of the adhering to choices in the menu:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Claiming to Be Somebody choice or the I Intended to Assist option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they making believe to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a factor (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you offer us some more details?" section.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue switch at the bottom of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so validates that your report was sent out.
On Desktop computer
1. Open Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's internet browser. This will certainly open your Information Feed if you're currently logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar at the top of the display, enter the name of the person you intend to report, click their name, and afterwards click their account photo. Conversely, locate and click their name in your Information Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's snuggled in the bottom-right edge of the cover photo on top of their account web page. Doing so prompts a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up menu. This opens up a home window with numerous reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the complying with alternatives in the window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Pretending to Be Somebody alternative or the I Want to Aid choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a factor (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some more details?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue switch remains in the bottom-right edge of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This confirms that your record has actually been sent.
