Facebook Report A Person
On Mobile
1. Open Up Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Touch the search bar at the top of the screen, type in the name of the individual you intend to report, tap their name, and afterwards touch their profile picture.
3. Tap More. This option is near the top of the customer's page, just listed below and also to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up menu. Doing so raises one more food selection with reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap among the complying with alternatives in the menu:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Claiming to Be Somebody alternative or the I Wished to Help option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they claiming to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some even more details?" area.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the end of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so verifies that your record was sent.
On Desktop computer
1. Open up Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer system's web browser. This will certainly open your Information Feed if you're currently logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the display, key in the name of the person you want to report, click their name, and then click their profile photo. Alternatively, locate and click their name in your Information Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's snuggled in the bottom-right edge of the cover photo at the top of their account web page. Doing so prompts a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up food selection. This opens a home window with different reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click among the complying with alternatives in the window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Pretending to Be Someone option or the I Wished to Help alternative, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they acting to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a reason (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some even more information?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue switch remains in the bottom-right edge of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This confirms that your report has been sent.
