Report Someone On Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Facebook Application.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Touch the search bar at the top of the screen, key in the name of the individual you want to report, touch their name, and afterwards tap their profile image.
3. Tap More. This choice is near the top of the individual's page, simply below as well as to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up menu. Doing so brings up another menu with reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Faucet among the following options in the menu:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Acting to Be A person alternative or the I Wished to Help alternative, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they pretending to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some more details?" area.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the end of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so confirms that your report was sent out.
On Desktop computer
1. Open Facebook. Most likely to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's internet internet browser. This will open your News Feed if you're already logged right into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the screen, key in the name of the individual you intend to report, click their name, and afterwards click their account image. Alternatively, locate and also click their name in your Information Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's snuggled in the bottom-right edge of the cover picture on top of their profile page. Doing so triggers a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up menu. This opens a home window with numerous reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the complying with alternatives in the window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Making believe to Be Someone choice or the I Want to Assist option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some even more details?" section.
7. Click Send. This blue switch is in the bottom-right edge of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This validates that your report has been sent out.
